| 18 Nov 2002 | Pokhara via Jomsom | Turkche (Altitude 2590m) | Fly to Jomsom at 8:00am. We pass through Marpha and Tukche, beautiful Thakali villages and camps at Larjung. The Thakalis are the dominant tribe of the valley, related to the Gurung and Magars of the southern slopes | |
| 19 Nov 2002 | Tukche (Altitude 2590m) | Ghasa (Altitude 2010m) | As we pass between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, a dramatic change in the vegetation occurs today - from dry desert to pine and conifer forests. Passing through Kalapani and here, the views fo Annapurnas are breathtaking. | |
| 20 Nov 2002 | Ghasa (Altitude 2010m) | Tatopani (Altitude 1190m) | After breakfast trek to Rukse (about 3 hours) and lunch near a spectacular waterfall at Rukse. The trail descends steadily to Tatopani (Altitude 1190m). Tatopani means hot water in Nepalese and it is possible to bathe in the springs and natural swimming pool. | |
| 21 Nov 2002 | Tatopani (Altitude 1190m) | Ghorepani (Altitude 2480m) | As we climb steadily all day, we leave behild the terraced fields and enter into thick rhododendron forest and village of Ghorepani. We stay at the Pass where we can get the best views of sunset and dawn of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. | |
| 22 Nov 2002 | Ghorepani | Tadapani | Early rise at 4 am and steeply trek to Poon Hill (1 hour walk to Altitude 3210m). This is one of the famous place in Annapurna region that you can enjoy the panoramic and magnificent view of sunrise over more than 20 biggest mountain ranges, some are more than 8000m high. Return to Ghorepani and after breakfast, trek to Deurali (Altitude 2845m). After 2 hours walk, you will be at Banthati and after taking lunch, trek to Tadapani (about 3 hours) | |
| 23 Nov 2002 | Tadapani | Pokhara | Trek to Ghandrung (about 4 hours), lunch and trek down to Birethati (about 2 hours) and trek to Nayapool (trek ending point) and back to Pokhara by taxi. Transfer to hotel. Overnight: Hotel Lakeside |
